OnePlus 8 Pro has an overall score of 77.2, which is slightly better than the Galaxy S III's score of 74.8. The OnePlus 8 Pro is a way newer and a little bit thinner phone than Galaxy S III, but it's also incredibly heavier. OnePlus 8 Pro counts with a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy S III, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, it also counts with 4 more processing cores and a larger amount of RAM memory.
The OnePlus 8 Pro counts with a sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy S III, because it has way more brightness, a much higher 1440 x 3168 pixels resolution, way more pixels per inch of screen and a much bigger display. OnePlus 8 Pro takes a lot better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S III, because it has a lot better (4K) video resolution, a way bigger sensor, a lot larger diafragm aperture to take better low light photos and video and a camera with much more mega-pixels.
The OnePlus 8 Pro features a much greater storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S III, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory capacity. OnePlus 8 Pro counts with a way better battery life than Samsung Galaxy S III, because it has a 115% bigger battery size.
Although OnePlus 8 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung Galaxy S III, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy S III. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy OnePlus 8 Pro, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Samsung Galaxy S III, letting go a couple features and specifications.
