Comparison review

The Galaxy A40 is slightly better than Galaxy S III, having a 79.6 score against 74.8. Both devices we are comparing here work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy A40 has newer 11 version while Galaxy S III has Android 4.3, so it gives some extra features. Galaxy A40's design is a lot newer and just a little thinner than Galaxy S III's, but it is a little bit heavier.

The Galaxy S III features a bit faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has 4 less and slower processing cores and less RAM memory, it also counts with a graphics co-processor. Galaxy S III has a little more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy A40, although it has a much lower screen density, a quite smaller screen and a lot lower resolution of 1280 x 720px.

The Galaxy A40 takes much better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S III, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video definition and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy A40 also has a lot bigger diafragm aperture to take better low-light photos and video, a bigger sensor shooting higher quality photographs and a lot more mega-pixels back-facing camera.

The Galaxy A40 features a very superior memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S III, because it has 64 GB internal memory and a SD memory slot that admits up to 512 GB. The Galaxy A40 has a much better battery lifetime than Galaxy S III, because it has a 48 percent more battery capacity.
