Galaxy A7 (2017) has a score of 75.8, which is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy S III's global score of 74.8. The Galaxy A7 (2017) body is much newer and just a bit thinner, but also noticeably heavier than the Samsung Galaxy S III. Galaxy A7 (2017)'s processing unit is very similar to the Samsung Galaxy S III one, because although the Galaxy A7 (2017) has doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with a higher number of cores and more RAM.
Galaxy S III features a little bit better screen than Galaxy A7 (2017), although it has a bit smaller display, a lot lower 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and a quite inferior pixels amount per inch of screen. Galaxy A7 (2017) takes a little bit better videos and photos than Galaxy S III, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same video definition, the Galaxy A7 (2017) also has a way larger aperture and a much more mega-pixels camera.
