Comparison review

Galaxy S5 Sport is a little bit better than Galaxy S III, with a 77.8 score against 74.8. Although Galaxy S5 Sport is much newer than Galaxy S III, it is heavier and a bit thicker. Both of these phones use Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy S5 Sport has newer 4.4.2 version and Galaxy S III has Android 4.3 version, so it provides a couple additional features.

The Galaxy S5 Sport counts with just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy S III, although it has a weaker graphics co-processor, they both have 4 cores and 2 GB of RAM. The Galaxy S5 Sport has a little bit better display than Samsung Galaxy S III, because it has a higher pixels count in each inch of screen, a little bit larger screen and a lot better resolution of 1920 x 1080.

The Samsung Galaxy S III counts with a greater storage capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy S5 Sport, because although it has a slot for SD memory cards that supports 64 GB smaller, it also counts with 32 GB internal storage capacity. Galaxy S5 Sport has a very superior battery performance than Galaxy S III, because it has 2800mAh of battery capacity.

The Galaxy S5 Sport takes much better pictures and videos than Galaxy S III, because it has a back-facing camera with a much higher 16 megapixels resolution, a way higher 3840x2160 video resolution, a larger sensor and a larger aperture.

Although Galaxy S5 Sport is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung Galaxy S III, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy S III. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get Samsung Galaxy S III, and give up some specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
