Comparison review
Galaxy S6 Edge is better than Samsung Galaxy S III, having an 85.7 score against 74.8. The Galaxy S6 Edge construction is noticeably newer, thinner and just a bit lighter than Samsung Galaxy S III. Both of these devices come with Android operating system, but the Galaxy S6 Edge has 5.0 version and Samsung Galaxy S III has Android 4.3 version, so it provides you a lot of extra features and optimized performance.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge features a more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy S III, because although it has a slower graphics processing unit working at 650 megahertz, it also counts with a 64-bit processing unit, 4 more processing cores and a larger amount of RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge features a much better screen than Samsung Galaxy S III, because it has a little larger display, a way higher screen density and a much better resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
The Galaxy S6 Edge features a very superior storage for games and applications than Galaxy S III, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge counts with greater battery lifetime than Galaxy S III, because it has a 24 percent bigger battery size.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a camera that is just as good as the Galaxy S III one, although the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge also has a much bigger diafragm aperture to take better images in low-light environments, a lot higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, a bigger camera sensor which provides a better image and video quality and a camera with a way higher 16 MP resolution.
Although Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy S III, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy S III. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy S6 Edge, else you can save some money and buy the Galaxy S III, letting go some features and specs.
