Galaxy S6 Edge is better than Samsung Galaxy S III, having an 85.7 score against 74.8. The Galaxy S6 Edge construction is noticeably newer, thinner and just a bit lighter than Samsung Galaxy S III. Both of these devices come with Android operating system, but the Galaxy S6 Edge has 5.0 version and Samsung Galaxy S III has Android 4.3 version, so it provides you a lot of extra features and optimized performance.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge features a more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy S III, because although it has a slower graphics processing unit working at 650 megahertz, it also counts with a 64-bit processing unit, 4 more processing cores and a larger amount of RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge features a much better screen than Samsung Galaxy S III, because it has a little larger display, a way higher screen density and a much better resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.

The Galaxy S6 Edge features a very superior storage for games and applications than Galaxy S III, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy S6 Edge, else you can save some money and buy the Galaxy S III, letting go some features and specs.
