Samsung Galaxy S7 Active is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy S III, having a 75.8 score against 74.8. Even though the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active is notably newer than Samsung Galaxy S III, it is notably heavier and somewhat thicker. Galaxy S7 Active counts with a bit more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy S III, because it has way more pixels per inch in the display, a little bit larger screen, a lot better resolution of 1440 x 2560 and much more brightness.
The Galaxy S III counts with a little bit better performance than Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has 2 GB lesser RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S III also counts with a graphics processing unit. Galaxy S7 Active has a quite bigger memory for apps and games than Galaxy S III, and although they both have equal 32 GB internal storage, the Galaxy S7 Active also has a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 200 GB.
The Galaxy S7 Active has a superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy S III, because it has a 4000mAh battery size. Galaxy S7 Active takes much better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy S III, because it has a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, a much bigger aperture for better low light captures and video and a camera with a way higher resolution.
Although Samsung Galaxy S7 Active is a better device, it costs more money than Galaxy S III, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy S III. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy S III, resigning some features and specifications.
