The Galaxy S8 has a general score of 81.7, which is slightly better than Galaxy S III's global score of 74.8. Galaxy S8's body is notably newer and a little thinner, but heavier than Galaxy S III. Samsung Galaxy S8 features a little more vivid screen than Galaxy S III, because it has a bigger display, a way better resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels and a much greater pixel count per inch of display.

Samsung Galaxy S8 features a bit better processing power than Galaxy S III, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, it also counts with more CPU cores and a larger amount of RAM. Samsung Galaxy S8 features a very superior storage for games and applications than Galaxy S III, because it has more internal memory and a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 256 GB.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 captures much better pictures and videos than Galaxy S III, because it has a way larger diafragm aperture to capture better low light images and video, a much better (4K) video resolution, a bigger back camera sensor and a back camera with a lot better 12 mega pixels resolution.
