The Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a little bit better than Galaxy S III, having a global score of 80.1 against 74.8. Although the Galaxy XCover FieldPro is newer than Galaxy S III, it is incredibly thicker and extremely heavier. These phones work with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy XCover FieldPro has 8.0 Oreo version and Galaxy S III has Android 4.3, so it provides the user some extra features.

The Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a little sharper screen than Galaxy S III, because it has a way better number of pixels per screen inch, a quite larger display and a lot higher 1440 x 2560px resolution. Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a bit faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy S III, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory and 4 more processing cores.

Samsung Galaxy S III shoots just a bit better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, although it has a worse 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, a tinier camera sensor, a way less mega-pixels back camera and a lot smaller aperture. The Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with a way bigger storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S III, because it has a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 512 GB and 32 GB more internal memory.

The Galaxy XCover FieldPro features a superior battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S III, because it has a 114 percent bigger battery capacity.

Although Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy S III, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy S III.
