Xperia PRO is way better than Samsung Galaxy S III, with a 94.3 score against 74.8. Xperia PRO is a a lot newer device than the Samsung Galaxy S III, although it's somewhat thicker and heavier. Both of these phones use Android OS (operating system), but the Xperia PRO has the newer 10 version while Samsung Galaxy S III has Android 4.3, so it provides some extra features.

The Xperia PRO has a bit sharper screen than Galaxy S III, because it has a way greater count of pixels per inch in the screen, a really larger display and a way higher resolution of 1644 x 3840 pixels. The Sony Xperia PRO features a little better processing power than Galaxy S III, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processor, it also counts with 6 GB more RAM memory and a greater number of cores.

The Sony Xperia PRO captures way better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy S III, because it has a lot bigger sensor capturing way higher quality pictures and videos, a lot more mega-pixels camera in the back, a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a lot bigger aperture. Sony Xperia PRO has a superior memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy S III, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 1 TB and 512 GB internal storage.

The Xperia PRO has a superior battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S III, because it has a 4000mAh battery size instead of 2100mAh.

Although Sony Xperia PRO is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung Galaxy S III, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy S III. If you want to save some money, you can get the Samsung Galaxy S III, and give up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your savings.
