The Sony Xperia PRO-I has a global score of 96.3, which is much better than the Galaxy S III's 74.8 score. Both of these phones include Android OS (Operating System), but the Sony Xperia PRO-I has the newer 11 version and Galaxy S III has Android 4.3, so it provides a lot of extra features. The Sony Xperia PRO-I design is newer, but a little bit thicker and a lot heavier than the Galaxy S III.

Xperia PRO-I has a little sharper display than Galaxy S III, because it has a way better screen pixel density, a much better 1644 x 3840 resolution and a way bigger display. Sony Xperia PRO-I has much more memory capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy S III, because it has an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 1 TB and 480 GB more internal storage.

The Sony Xperia PRO-I has a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy S III, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processor, it also counts with a higher number of faster cores and 10 GB more RAM memory. Sony Xperia PRO-I captures much clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy S III, because it has a bigger sensor taking better quality videos and photos, a back facing camera with lot more mega-pixels, a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a much larger aperture.
