Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy S III, with a 78.1 score against 74.8. These phones have Android OS, but the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has the newer 6.0 Marshmallow version while Samsung Galaxy S III has Android 4.3, so it gives some nice extra features and some performance improvements. The Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus construction is notably newer and just a little thinner, but notably heavier than the Samsung Galaxy S III.
Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus counts with a bit superior CPU than Galaxy S III, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, and they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory. Galaxy S III counts with a bit more vivid screen than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, although it has a just a bit lower pixels amount in each screen inch, way less brightness, a bit smaller display and a lot worse 1280 x 720 resolution.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus features a very superior storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy S III, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory capacity. The Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus shoots better pictures and videos than Galaxy S III, and although they both have the same back-facing camera sensor size, the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus also has a way higher 13 mega-pixels resolution back camera, a much larger aperture and a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus counts with a much longer battery life than Galaxy S III, because it has an 81% more battery capacity.
