The Xiaomi Mi 6 has a global score of 76.5, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy S III's 74.8 overall score. Even though Xiaomi Mi 6 is way heavier than the Samsung Galaxy S III, it's somewhat thinner and much newer. Xiaomi Mi 6 features a little better performance than Galaxy S III, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory and 4 more cores.
Xiaomi Mi 6 has a little bit better looking display than Galaxy S III, because it has a quite bigger display, a better screen density, a much higher resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and much more brightness. Xiaomi Mi 6 features a better camera than Galaxy S III, because it has a lot bigger aperture, a way better 12 MP resolution back-facing camera, a much higher video resolution and a bigger back camera sensor.
The Xiaomi Mi 6 features a much bigger memory for apps and games than Galaxy S III, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Mi 6 counts with a much better battery life than Samsung Galaxy S III, because it has 3350mAh of battery capacity.
Although Xiaomi Mi 6 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy S III, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy S III. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Xiaomi Mi 6, else you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy S III, giving up a couple features and specifications.
