Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has an overall score of 75.8, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy S III's global score of 74.8. Both of these devices have Android OS (operating system), but Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has a newer 8.0 Oreo version while Samsung Galaxy S III has Android 4.3 version. Although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is heavier than Samsung Galaxy S III, it's just a little bit thinner and also way newer.
Galaxy S III has a little bit better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, although it has a way worse 1280 x 720 resolution, a just a bit lower amount of pixels per inch in the screen and a much smaller display. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has a way bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S III, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 128 GB and more internal memory capacity.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has a much longer battery performance than Galaxy S III, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
