Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a general score of 76.6, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy S III's 74.8 global score. Both of these phones work with Android OS, but Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has newer 10 version while Samsung Galaxy S III has Android 4.3 version, providing you a lot of extra features and better performance. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 construction is notably newer, but just a little thicker and heavier than Samsung Galaxy S III.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a little faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy S III, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with more RAM memory and a greater number of cores. Samsung Galaxy S III has a bit more vivid screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, although it has a way worse resolution of 1280 x 720px, a just a little worse pixel density and a lot smaller display.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy S III, and although they both have the same video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a back-facing camera with a much better resolution, a lot larger back camera sensor providing a lot better image quality and a way bigger diafragm aperture for better low-light photography.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 counts with a superior storage capacity for apps and games than Galaxy S III, because it has an external memory card slot that holds up to 128 GB and more internal storage. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a way better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S III, because it has a 139 percent larger battery capacity.
Although Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy S III, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy S III. If you want to save some dollars, you can get the Samsung Galaxy S III, letting go some specs and features, but you will get the most with your savings.
