Comparison review
Galaxy S III MetroPCS is just a bit better than the LG K40, with a 70.8 score against 69.8. Both phones in our current comparison come with Android OS, but the Galaxy S III MetroPCS has the older 4.0.4 version and LG K40 has Android 8.1 Oreo version. Galaxy S III MetroPCS is a just a little thicker but a bit lighter phone than the LG K40.
The LG K40 features just a little better processing power than Galaxy S III MetroPCS, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, and they both have 2 GB of RAM, the LG K40 also counts with 6 more processing cores. Samsung Galaxy S III MetroPCS features a better looking screen than LG K40, because although it has a little bit smaller display and a quite lower 1280 x 720 pixels resolution, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch in the screen.
The LG K40 features a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S III MetroPCS, and although they both have exactly the same 16 GB internal memory capacity, the LG K40 also has a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. The LG K40 has a very superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S III MetroPCS, because it has a 3000mAh battery capacity.
LG K40 has a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy S III MetroPCS, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video quality, a back camera with an 8 megapixels, a same size back-facing camera sensor and the same video frame rates, the LG K40 also has a way bigger camera aperture.
The Samsung Galaxy S III MetroPCS costs a bit more money than the LG K40, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
