Samsung Galaxy S III has a global score of 72.9, which is slightly better than the Galaxy Note II's 71.9 general score. Both phones we are comparing work with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy S III has 4.3 version and Galaxy Note II has Android 4.1 version. Samsung Galaxy S III's design is just a bit thinner and extremely lighter than the Galaxy Note II, even when they were released only a few months apart.

Samsung Galaxy Note II counts with a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy S III. Both of them have a 1.06 gigahertz graphics processor, the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount. The Galaxy S III has a little bit better screen than Galaxy Note II, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have the same resolution of 1280 x 720px, the Galaxy S III also counts with a quite greater pixel amount per inch in the screen.

The Galaxy S III has a lot bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Note II, and although they both have an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 64 GB, the Galaxy S III also has 32 GB internal storage capacity. Galaxy Note II has a way better battery duration than Galaxy S III, because it has 3100mAh of battery capacity.

The Galaxy S III features a superior camera than Galaxy Note II. They have a 8 MP camera in the back, the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 video quality.

The Samsung Galaxy S III costs a bit more money than the Galaxy Note II, but it's still a great choice, as you can get a lot more for that extra money.
