Samsung Galaxy S7 has a score of 79.5, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy S III's global score of 72.9. Even though Samsung Galaxy S7 is somewhat heavier than the Samsung Galaxy S III, it's just a bit thinner and also notably newer. Galaxy S7 features a sharper screen than Galaxy S III, because it has a lot better 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution, a lot more pixels per inch in the display, a quite larger display and a lot brighter screen.

The Galaxy S III counts with a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy S7, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S III also counts with an extra graphics processor. The Galaxy S7 counts with more storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S III, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Galaxy S7 also has a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 200 GB.

The Galaxy S7 has a very superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S III, because it has a 43% bigger battery capacity.
