Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy S10 5G is much better than the Motorola Edge 40, getting a general score of 93.6 against 77.2. Even being the best cellphone we compare here, we must note that it is also an a lot older, a bit thicker and somewhat heavier cellphone. Both phones in our current comparison come with Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy S10 5G has the older 11 version and Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13 version.

Galaxy S10 5G counts with a much powerful CPU than Motorola Edge 40. They have the same RAM amount and a Octa-Core processor. The Motorola Edge 40 counts with just a bit better looking display than Galaxy S10 5G, although it has a little bit less pixels per screen inch, a much lower resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a bit smaller screen.

The Motorola Edge 40 features a better camera than Samsung Galaxy S10 5G, because although it has slower 30 fps video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Motorola Edge 40 also counts with a lot larger sensor taking way higher quality pictures, a bigger camera aperture to take better images and videos in low light environments and a lot better 50 megapixels resolution back-facing camera.

The Galaxy S10 5G counts with a much greater memory capacity for games and applications than Motorola Edge 40, because it has 256 GB internal storage capacity. Galaxy S10 5G has a little longer battery lifetime than Motorola Edge 40, because it has a 2 percent bigger battery capacity.
