The Galaxy S10 5G is better than the Xperia 1 VI, with a 93.6 score against 83.2. Both devices in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy S10 5G has an older 11 version and Xperia 1 VI has Android 14. The Galaxy S10 5G counts with a bit more vivid screen than Xperia 1 VI, although it has a just a little lower pixel density, a little bit smaller screen and a quite lower 1440 x 3040 resolution.
The Galaxy S10 5G features a much faster processor than Sony Xperia 1 VI, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. The Sony Xperia 1 VI takes way better videos and photos than Galaxy S10 5G, because although it has a lot tinier diafragm aperture which is worse for low light photography, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Sony Xperia 1 VI also counts with a way more megapixels camera in the back, a lot larger camera sensor and better video frame rate.
Xperia 1 VI features a much greater storage capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S10 5G, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Xperia 1 VI also has a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 1 TB. Xperia 1 VI features just a bit better battery life than Samsung Galaxy S10 5G, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4500mAh.
