Comparison review
The Galaxy S10 Lite has a general score of 89.7, which is slightly better than Huawei P40's 86.4 general score. The Galaxy S10 Lite design is a bit thinner but just a bit heavier than Huawei P40, and they were released only 2 months apart. The Huawei P40 features a bit more vivid display than Galaxy S10 Lite, because although it has a quite smaller display and a quite lower 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, it also counts with a quite greater screen pixel density.
The Huawei P40 and Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite feature extremely similar processing units, and although the Huawei P40 has a lower amount of RAM, they both have 8 processing cores. The Galaxy S10 Lite has much more memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei P40, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Galaxy S10 Lite also has a SD extension slot that admits up to 1000 GB.
Huawei P40 takes just a bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy S10 Lite, and although they both have the same video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Huawei P40 also has a way bigger sensor which offers a way higher photo and video quality, a back facing camera with a higher 50 MP resolution and a bigger aperture to take better photos and video in low light situations.
The Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite counts with a little better battery lifetime than Huawei P40, because it has an 18 percent greater battery capacity.
Galaxy S10 Lite costs a little more money than Huawei P40, but it's still a great deal, as you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
