Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite has a global score of 89.7, which is much better than Huawei P40 Lite's overall score of 79.5. Even though Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite and Huawei P40 Lite were only released with a few months difference, Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite's design is a little heavier but also a bit thinner than Huawei P40 Lite.
Huawei P40 Lite features a screen that's just as good as the Galaxy S10 Lite one, because although the Huawei P40 Lite has a little bit smaller display and a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2310px, it also counts with a bit more pixels per screen inch. Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite counts with a much better memory capacity to store more games and applications than Huawei P40 Lite, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite also has a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 1000 GB.
Galaxy S10 Lite has a bit better hardware performance than Huawei P40 Lite, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Galaxy S10 Lite also has more RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite has just a bit longer battery performance than Huawei P40 Lite, because it has a 4500mAh battery size against 4200mAh.
The Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite captures much clearer videos and photos than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not nice for taking photos and video in poorly lited situations, and they both have a camera with a 48 MP resolution and a same size camera sensor, the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite also counts with a way better 3840x2160 video quality.
The Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite costs a bit more money than the Huawei P40 Lite, but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
