Comparison review
The Sony Xperia 1 III has an overall score of 93.3, which is just a bit better than Galaxy S10 Lite's 89.7 general score. Sony Xperia 1 III's body has the same thickness than Galaxy S10 Lite, but it's a bit heavier. The Sony Xperia 1 III counts with a better display than Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a way better quantity of pixels per inch of screen and a much higher 1644 x 3840 resolution.
The Xperia 1 III features a little faster processing unit than Galaxy S10 Lite, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Xperia 1 III also has a higher amount of RAM memory. The Xperia 1 III features a much bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy S10 Lite, because it has more internal memory capacity and an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 1 TB.
The Xperia 1 III's battery performance is just as good as Galaxy S10 Lite's battery life. Galaxy S10 Lite has a better camera than Xperia 1 III, because although it has a smaller aperture, a smaller back camera sensor capturing less light and duller colors and lower video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Galaxy S10 Lite also counts with a lot better 48 megapixels resolution camera in the back.
Although Xperia 1 III is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Xperia 1 III, else you can save some money and buy the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite, resigning a couple features and specifications.
