Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy S10 is just a bit better than the Asus ZenFone 8, having a global score of 88.3 against 83. Although the Samsung Galaxy S10 is notably older than the Asus ZenFone 8, it's body is a bit lighter and thinner. Both phones we compare here use the same Android 11 OS, so you shouldn't notice any difference regarding that.

Asus ZenFone 8 features a little sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy S10, although it has a quite worse count of pixels per display inch, a little smaller screen and a lot lower resolution of 1080 x 2400. The Samsung Galaxy S10 features a very superior storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Asus ZenFone 8, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy S10 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 512 GB.

The Asus ZenFone 8 features a processing unit that is very similar to the Galaxy S10 one, and although the Asus ZenFone 8 has less RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. The Asus ZenFone 8 takes way better pictures and videos than Galaxy S10, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not nice for capturing photos and video in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a much better video quality, a lot more MP camera in the back and a much larger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.

The Asus ZenFone 8 has better battery duration than Galaxy S10, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3400mAh.
