Comparison review

The Huawei Mate X has an overall score of 89.4, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy S10's score of 88.3. Despite being the best in our current comparison, the Huawei Mate X design is incredibly thicker and heavier than Samsung Galaxy S10. Both phones in our current comparison have Android operating system, but Huawei Mate X has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Samsung Galaxy S10 has Android 11 version.

The Galaxy S10 counts with a bit better looking screen than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a quite lower 1440 x 3040px resolution and a much smaller display, it also counts with a higher display pixels density. Samsung Galaxy S10 has a bit superior CPU than Huawei Mate X. Both of them have the same number of cores and 8 GB of RAM.

Huawei Mate X counts with a very superior memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S10, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory capacity. Huawei Mate X counts with greater battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S10, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.

The Galaxy S10 has a better camera than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a way less megapixels resolution back camera and a lot tinier sensor providing a much worse image quality, it also counts with a bigger diafragm aperture for better images and videos in poorly lited environments.

Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung Galaxy S10, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy S10. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Huawei Mate X, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Samsung Galaxy S10, letting go a couple features and specifications.
