Comparison review
The Galaxy S10 has a global score of 88.3, which is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy M40's global score of 85. The Galaxy S10 is a just a bit lighter device than the Samsung Galaxy M40, but both have the same thickness. These phones use Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy S10 has the newer 11 version and Samsung Galaxy M40 has Android 10 version, providing a couple additional features.
The Galaxy S10 features a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy M40, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy S10 also has a larger amount of RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy S10 counts with a bit sharper screen than Galaxy M40, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1440 x 3040 resolution and a higher display density.
Samsung Galaxy M40 has a slightly better camera than Galaxy S10, because although it has slower video frame rate, a tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for low light photography and video and a tinier sensor giving a worse image quality, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Samsung Galaxy M40 also counts with a lot more megapixels back camera.
Samsung Galaxy M40's memory to install games and applications is very similar to the Samsung Galaxy S10 one, they have the same 128 GB internal storage and an external memory slot that supports up to 512 GB. Galaxy M40 counts with a bit superior battery duration than Galaxy S10, because it has a 3% more battery size.
