Comparison review
The Galaxy S10 is better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, getting an 88.3 score against 76.6. Both phones we compare here work with Android OS, but Galaxy S10 has a newer 11 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has Android 10. Even though Galaxy S10 is older than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, it's body is thinner and incredibly lighter.
Galaxy S10 features a bit superior processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Galaxy S10 also has a higher amount of RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy S10 counts with a sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 3040px and a better number of pixels per inch in the screen.
Galaxy S10 has a very superior memory to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 512 GB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a much better battery duration than Galaxy S10, because it has a 5020mAh battery size against 3400mAh.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 shoots a little bit better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy S10, because although it has slower video frame rates and a tinier aperture which is not good for taking images and videos in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also counts with a way larger camera sensor providing a lot better image quality and a lot higher 48 mega-pixels resolution camera.
Samsung Galaxy S10 not only is the best phones between the ones we are comparing, but it's also cheaper than the other phone, which makes it a simple decision.
