Comparison review
The Galaxy S10e is a bit better than the Galaxy S8, having an 86.3 score against 81.7. The Galaxy S10e design has the same thickness than Galaxy S8, but it is a little bit lighter. The Samsung Galaxy S8 counts with a slightly better display than Samsung Galaxy S10e, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Samsung Galaxy S8 also has a better resolution of 1440 x 2960 and a greater pixel number in each inch in the display.
Galaxy S10e has a much better memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy S8, because it has more internal storage and a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 512 GB. The Galaxy S10e counts with a bit superior CPU than Galaxy S8, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy S10e also has more RAM memory.
The Samsung Galaxy S10e takes just a bit better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy S8, and although they both have the same resolution back facing camera, a 0.39 inches sensor and the same (4K) video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy S10e also has a larger aperture for better low light captures and videos and faster video frame rate.
Samsung Galaxy S10e has just a bit longer battery duration than Galaxy S8, because it has a 3100mAh battery size.
Although Galaxy S10e is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy S8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy S8. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy S10e, else you can save some money and buy the Galaxy S8, letting go a couple specs and features.
