Comparison review
The Galaxy S20 FE is slightly better than Huawei P40, with a score of 90.8 against 86.4. The Galaxy S20 FE is a just a bit heavier cellphone than Huawei P40, but both of them have the same thickness. Both phones in this review have Android operating system, but Galaxy S20 FE has a more recent 11 version and Huawei P40 has Android 10, so it gives you a couple nice extra features and optimized performance.
The Huawei P40 has a bit sharper display than Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, because although it has a little worse resolution of 1080 x 2340 and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit better display pixels density. The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE has a much bigger memory for applications and games than Huawei P40, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE also has an external SD slot that supports up to 1000 GB.
The Huawei P40's CPU is very similar to the CPU in Galaxy S20 FE, both have a 6 GB RAM and the same number of cores. Huawei P40 captures better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same video frame rate, the Huawei P40 also counts with a way higher 50 megapixels resolution back facing camera and a lot bigger sensor shooting way better quality pictures and videos.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE has a bit better battery lifetime than Huawei P40, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity.
Although Galaxy S20 FE is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Huawei P40, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Huawei P40. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Galaxy S20 FE, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Huawei P40, letting go some specifications.
