Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE has a global score of 90.8, which is much better than the Galaxy S8's general score of 81.7. Although Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is notably newer than the Galaxy S8, it is somewhat heavier and just a bit thicker. Galaxy S8 has a little sharper screen than Galaxy S20 FE, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a higher pixels number per screen inch and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2960px.

The Galaxy S20 FE counts with a much bigger memory for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S8, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 1000 GB and 64 GB more internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE counts with a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy S8, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE also has 2 GB more RAM memory.

Galaxy S20 FE features a superior battery performance than Galaxy S8, because it has a 4500mAh battery size against 3000mAh. The Galaxy S20 FE shoots clearer videos and photos than Galaxy S8, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have the same resolution back-facing camera and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Galaxy S20 FE also counts with better 60 fps video frame rates and a way larger back camera sensor providing a lot better image quality.

Although Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy S8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy S8. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Galaxy S8, giving up some features and specs.
