The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE has a general score of 90.8, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy S9's score of 83.3. Samsung Galaxy S20 FE's body has the same thickness than Samsung Galaxy S9, but it's heavier. The Galaxy S9 has a little bit better screen than Galaxy S20 FE, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2960 resolution and a greater number of pixels per inch of display.
Samsung Galaxy S20 FE counts with a way bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S9, because it has more internal memory capacity and an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 1000 GB. Galaxy S20 FE has a little faster processing unit than Galaxy S9, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S20 FE also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE counts with just a bit better camera than Galaxy S9, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for low-light photography, and they both have a 12 mega pixels back-facing camera, the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE also counts with a much larger camera sensor providing a way better image quality.
The Galaxy S20 FE has a really longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S9, because it has a 50% bigger battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy S9, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy S9. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, else you can save some money and buy the Galaxy S9, giving up a couple features and specs.
