Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G has a global score of 98, which is much better than Microsoft Surface Duo 2's general score of 85.3. Despite of the fact the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G is older and much thicker than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, it's construction is still a lot lighter. Both of these phones use Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G has a more recent 13 version and Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has Android 11 version, so it offers a couple nice extra features.

Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G counts with a bit more powerful processor than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G also has more RAM memory. Microsoft Surface Duo 2 counts with a little sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G, because although it has a bit inferior count of pixels per display inch, it also counts with a bigger screen and a little bit higher resolution of 1892 x 2688.

Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G features a much bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G also has an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 1000 GB. The Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G counts with a little better battery performance than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, because it has a 12% greater battery size.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G shoots a lot better photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not recommended for taking images and video in low light situations, it also counts with a much better video quality and a back camera with a much higher resolution.

Although Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Microsoft Surface Duo 2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Microsoft Surface Duo 2. If you want to save some money, you can get the Microsoft Surface Duo 2, and give up some specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
