Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G has a global score of 98, which is much better than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus's 78.1 general score. Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G's design is notably newer, but a little bit thicker and way heavier than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus. Both phones in this review use Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G has an older 13 version and Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus has Android 4.4.2.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G counts with a bit faster processor than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with a higher number of cores and a higher amount of RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus counts with a bit more vivid display than Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G, although it has a lot smaller display, a bit inferior quantity of pixels per inch in the screen and a way worse resolution of 1920 x 1080px.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G features a lot better camera than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a lot better 7680x4320 video resolution, a back facing camera with a way better 108 megapixels resolution, a bigger diafragm aperture for better captures in low light environments and a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor.
Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G features a lot bigger storage to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 1000 GB and 112 GB more internal storage. The Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G has a really longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a 79% bigger battery size.
Although Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, giving up some features and specifications.
