The Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G has a global score of 98, which is much better than the Galaxy S7 edge's 78.1 global score. Both phones we compare here come with Android OS, but the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G has the older 13 version while Galaxy S7 edge has Android 8.0 Oreo. Even though the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G is incredibly newer than Galaxy S7 edge, it is somewhat thicker and extremely heavier.
The Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G features a bit sharper display than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a just a little worse screen pixel density, it also counts with a larger screen and a quite better 1440 x 3200 resolution. Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G takes way better pictures and videos than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a smaller aperture, it also counts with a bigger camera sensor which gives a higher image and video quality, a way better video definition and a back facing camera with a way higher 108 mega pixels resolution.
Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G counts with a much better storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S7 edge, because it has 128 GB internal memory and an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 1000 GB. Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G has a superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because it has a 39% bigger battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy S7 edge, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy S7 edge. If you are trying to save some money, you can get Galaxy S7 edge, and give up a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
