Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G is better than Galaxy S8, with a 98 score against 81.7. Although the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G is much newer than Galaxy S8, it's somewhat thicker and extremely heavier. The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy S8, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G also has a higher amount of RAM.
The Galaxy S8 features a little bit better screen than Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G, because although it has a little bit smaller screen and a bit lower 1440 x 2960px resolution, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per inch of screen. The Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G takes much clearer videos and photos than Galaxy S8, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not nice for low light photography, it also counts with a much higher video resolution, a way bigger sensor which gives a much higher photo and video quality and a back facing camera with way more megapixels.
The Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G features a superior storage capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S8, because it has more internal memory and a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 1000 GB. The Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G features a really longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S8, because it has a 67% greater battery capacity.
Although Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy S8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy S8. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G, else you can save some money and get the Galaxy S8, resigning a couple features and specs.
