Comparison review
The Galaxy S20 has a score of 94.8, which is just a bit better than the iPhone 12 Pro Max's 93.2 score. Galaxy S20's body is a bit thicker but much lighter than the iPhone 12 Pro Max, and both were released with only a couple of months difference. The Galaxy S20 comes with Android 13 OS, while iPhone 12 Pro Max comes with iOS 15.x OS.
IPhone 12 Pro Max has a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy S20, because although it has a lower number of cores and a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a 64 bits CPU. Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max counts with a little bit better looking display than Galaxy S20, because although it has a bit worse 1284 x 2778 resolution and a little bit less pixels per display inch, it also counts with a little bit larger display.
Samsung Galaxy S20 counts with a lot bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy S20 also has a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 1000 GB. The Samsung Galaxy S20 features a bit better camera than Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is worse for capturing pictures in low-light situations, and they both have a same resolution back camera, the Samsung Galaxy S20 also counts with a way higher video definition.
Galaxy S20 has just a bit better battery life than Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3687mAh.
Despite of being the best phone between the ones we are comparing, Samsung Galaxy S20 is also cheaper than the iPhone 12 Pro Max, which makes it a simple decision.
