Galaxy S20 has an overall score of 94.8, which is just a bit better than the Google Pixel 4a 5G's 87.5 overall score. Both of these phones include Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy S20 has newer 13 version while Google Pixel 4a 5G has Android 11 version, so it provides the user a couple additional features and performance optimizations. Although Galaxy S20 and the Google Pixel 4a 5G were only released with a couple of months difference, Galaxy S20 is just a little thinner and just a little bit lighter.
Samsung Galaxy S20 counts with a bit better processor than Google Pixel 4a 5G, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Samsung Galaxy S20 also has 6 GB more RAM. The Samsung Galaxy S20 counts with a slightly better looking screen than Google Pixel 4a 5G, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Samsung Galaxy S20 also has a better display density and a higher 1440 x 3200 pixels resolution.
The Galaxy S20 counts with a lot bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Google Pixel 4a 5G, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory, the Galaxy S20 also has a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 1000 GB. The Samsung Galaxy S20 counts with just a bit better camera than Google Pixel 4a 5G, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture and a lower resolution back-facing camera, it also counts with a much better 7680x4320 video quality and a way bigger sensor which gives a lot higher image and video quality.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 features a little longer battery life than Google Pixel 4a 5G, because it has a 3% bigger battery capacity.
Although Galaxy S20 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Google Pixel 4a 5G, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Google Pixel 4a 5G. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy S20, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Google Pixel 4a 5G, resigning some features and specifications.
