Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S20 is slightly better than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, having a 94.8 score against 90.9. These phones come with Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy S20 has a newer 13 version and Huawei Mate 40 Pro has Android 10, providing the user a couple additional features and enhanced performance. The Samsung Galaxy S20 is a much lighter and thinner phone than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, although both of them were only released 8 months apart.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro counts with just a bit better performance than Galaxy S20, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. Galaxy S20 counts with a little bit better display than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a bit higher 1440 x 3200px resolution and more pixels per inch in the screen.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a better camera than Samsung Galaxy S20, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for low light photography and video, and they both have the same video quality, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also counts with a way higher 50 mega pixels resolution camera in the back, a way bigger back-facing camera sensor which offers a way higher image and video quality and better 60 fps video frame rate.
The Galaxy S20 features more storage to store more games and applications than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, because although it has only 128 GB internal storage, it also counts with an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 1000 GB. The Huawei Mate 40 Pro features just a little bit longer battery duration than Galaxy S20, because it has a 10% larger battery capacity.
