Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy S20 has an overall score of 94.8, which is just a bit better than the Huawei P40's score of 86.4. Both of these phones work with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy S20 has newer 13 version while Huawei P40 has Android 10 version. Even when the Samsung Galaxy S20 and Huawei P40 were only released with a couple months difference, the Samsung Galaxy S20 is just a little bit thinner and just a bit lighter.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 features just a little better hardware performance than Huawei P40, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Samsung Galaxy S20 also has a greater amount of RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy S20 features a slightly better screen than Huawei P40, because it has a higher pixels amount in each inch in the display, a better resolution of 1440 x 3200 and a little bit larger display.
The Huawei P40 captures much better photographs and videos than Galaxy S20, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same video definition, the Huawei P40 also counts with a lot more mega-pixels camera, faster video frame rates and a much larger back-facing camera sensor shooting much higher quality photos.
The Galaxy S20 counts with a much bigger storage for apps and games than Huawei P40, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Galaxy S20 also has a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 1000 GB. Galaxy S20 has just a bit longer battery lifetime than Huawei P40, because it has a 5% more battery size.
Although Samsung Galaxy S20 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Huawei P40, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Huawei P40. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S20, else you can save some money and buy the Huawei P40, resigning some features and specs.
