Comparison review

The Galaxy S20 is better than the LG G8 ThinQ, with a 94.8 score against 84.3. Galaxy S20 is a newer cellphone, and it's also just a bit thinner and just a bit lighter than the LG G8 ThinQ. Both phones we compare here come with Android operating system, but the Galaxy S20 has older 13 version while LG G8 ThinQ has Android 9.0 Pie.

Samsung Galaxy S20 features a little better hardware performance than LG G8 ThinQ, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Samsung Galaxy S20 also has 6 GB more RAM. The LG G8 ThinQ features a slightly better looking display than Samsung Galaxy S20, although it has a little bit smaller screen, a bit lower resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels and a little worse screen pixels density.

LG G8 ThinQ has a quite bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy S20, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a SD extension slot that holds up to 1,95 TB. Samsung Galaxy S20 counts with just a little better battery performance than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.

Samsung Galaxy S20 has a slightly better camera than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is worse for low light photography and video, and they both have a 12 MP resolution camera, the Samsung Galaxy S20 also counts with a way bigger camera sensor shooting way higher quality photographs and videos and a lot higher 7680x4320 video quality.

Although Galaxy S20 is a better device, it is way more expensive than LG G8 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the LG G8 ThinQ. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the LG G8 ThinQ, giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your money.
