Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy S20 has a score of 94.8, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy A71's global score of 87.5. Both of these phones have Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy S20 has a newer 13 version while Galaxy A71 has Android 11. The Samsung Galaxy S20 body is a little bit thicker but just a little bit lighter than the Galaxy A71, and both of them were released with only a couple of months difference.

Galaxy S20 features a much better display than Galaxy A71, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a higher quantity of pixels per inch in the display and a higher 1440 x 3200 resolution. Galaxy S20 counts with a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy A71, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Galaxy S20 also has a higher amount of RAM.

Galaxy S20 has just a bit bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy A71, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy S20 also has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 1000 GB. Galaxy A71 shoots much better pictures and videos than Galaxy S20, and although they both have a same size aperture, a 0.59 inches back-facing camera sensor and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Galaxy A71 also has a camera with much more mega-pixels and better 30 fps video frame rate.

Samsung Galaxy A71 has a bit superior battery performance than Galaxy S20, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.

Although Galaxy S20 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Samsung Galaxy A71, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy A71. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Galaxy S20, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy A71, giving up some specs and features.
