The Samsung Galaxy S20 is better than Galaxy S8, with a 94.8 score against 81.7. The Samsung Galaxy S20 is a just a bit heavier phone than the Galaxy S8, but both are equally thin. Galaxy S8 has a screen that's very similar to the Samsung Galaxy S20 one, because although the Galaxy S8 has a quite smaller display and a bit worse 1440 x 2960 resolution, it also counts with a little higher screen density.

The Galaxy S20 counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy S8, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy S20 also has a higher amount of RAM memory. Galaxy S20 captures better photographs and videos than Galaxy S8, because although it has a smaller camera aperture, and they both have a back-facing camera with a 12 mega pixels, the Galaxy S20 also counts with a way better video definition and a much larger back camera sensor which gives a way better image and video quality.

Galaxy S20 features much more memory capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S8, because it has a SD extension slot that admits up to 1000 GB and more internal memory. Samsung Galaxy S20 has greater battery performance than Galaxy S8, because it has a 33% larger battery size.

Although Samsung Galaxy S20 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy S8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy S8. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S20, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy S8, giving up a couple specs and features.
