Comparison review
Galaxy S20 has a general score of 94.8, which is a bit better than Sony Xperia 1 III's 93.3 global score. Galaxy S20's body is somewhat lighter and just a little thinner than Sony Xperia 1 III, despite of the fact that it was released about a year before. Both of these phones have Android operating system, but the Galaxy S20 has the newer 13 version while Sony Xperia 1 III has Android 11, counting with a lot of extra features and performance improvements.
Galaxy S20 and Xperia 1 III count with quite similar processing units, they have the same number of cores and a 12 GB RAM. The Xperia 1 III counts with a little bit better looking display than Galaxy S20, because it has a little higher 1644 x 3840 resolution, a little larger screen and a quite better pixel number per inch of screen.
Xperia 1 III captures slightly better videos and photos than Galaxy S20, and although they both have a back camera with a 12 megapixels resolution, the same sensor size and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Xperia 1 III also has a bigger diafragm aperture and better video frame rates. The Xperia 1 III features much more storage capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S20, because it has 256 GB internal memory and a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB.
Xperia 1 III features a bit better battery duration than Galaxy S20, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
Even being the best phone in our current comparison, Galaxy S20 is also by far the cheapest.
