Galaxy S20 is much better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, having a score of 94.8 against 77.5. The Galaxy S20 is a much newer and much lighter phone than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, but it's also a little thicker. Samsung Galaxy S20 features a brighter display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher display pixels density and a much higher resolution of 1440 x 3200px.
Galaxy S20 has a much better storage for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy S20 also has a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 1000 GB. Galaxy S20 features just a little better processing power than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S20 also has more RAM memory.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with superior battery performance than Galaxy S20, because it has a 5300mAh battery size. Galaxy S20 counts with a superior camera than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have a 12 megapixels resolution back camera, the Galaxy S20 also has a much bigger back-facing camera sensor shooting way better quality videos and photographs, a way higher video quality and a bigger camera aperture to capture better low-light photography and videos.
Although Samsung Galaxy S20 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xiaomi Mi Max 2. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S20, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, resigning a couple features and specifications.
