Comparison review
The Galaxy S20 has a global score of 94.8, which is way better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's score of 76.6. Although Galaxy S20 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 were only released with a few months difference, Galaxy S20 is somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner. These phones use Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy S20 has a newer 13 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has Android 10.
The Galaxy S20 features a little faster processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy S20 also has 9 GB more RAM. Samsung Galaxy S20 features a much better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per screen inch and a higher resolution of 1440 x 3200px.
Samsung Galaxy S20 has a very superior memory to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because it has more internal memory and a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 1000 GB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a bit better camera than Galaxy S20, because although it has a smaller sensor shooting lower quality photos, and they both have the same camera aperture and the same (Full HD) video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also counts with a much more MP back camera and higher 30 frames per second video frame rate.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has superior battery duration than Galaxy S20, because it has a 26% more battery capacity.
The Galaxy S20 is a lot more expensive than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, but you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
