Comparison review

The Galaxy S20 is better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, having a 94.8 score against 81.1. The Galaxy S20 design is notably lighter and somewhat thinner than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, although both were released only 2 months apart. Both of these devices come with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy S20 has newer 13 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has Android 10 version.

Galaxy S20 features a sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a greater screen density and a better resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels. Galaxy S20 counts with a way bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because it has a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 1000 GB and 128 GB internal memory.

Galaxy S20 counts with a little faster CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S20 also has a larger amount of RAM memory. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features better battery life than Galaxy S20, because it has 5020mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a superior camera than Samsung Galaxy S20, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is worse for capturing photos or videos in low-light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same back-facing camera sensor size, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also counts with a much higher resolution camera in the back and better 30 frames per second video frame rate.

Although Galaxy S20 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and give up a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
