Galaxy S21 Ultra has an overall score of 98.1, which is much better than Galaxy Note8's 83 overall score. Both of these phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy S21 Ultra has 11 version and Galaxy Note8 has Android 9.0 Pie version. Although Galaxy S21 Ultra is incredibly newer than Galaxy Note8, it's just a little thicker and heavier.

The Galaxy S21 Ultra has a better looking display than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a little less pixels per inch of screen, it also counts with a bit bigger display and a quite better 1440 x 3200 resolution. The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra counts with a little bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy Note8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra also has a higher amount of RAM.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra shoots way better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for taking photos and/or video in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a much better 7680x4320 video quality, a back-facing camera with a way better resolution and a lot bigger camera sensor shooting much higher quality videos and photos.

The Galaxy Note8 has a little bit better memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB. The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra features a much longer battery performance than Galaxy Note8, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 3300mAh.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra costs a lot more money than Galaxy Note8, but it's still a convenient choice, because you can get a better phone for that extra money.
