Comparison review
The Galaxy S21 is better than Google Pixel 4a, having a 91.8 score against 82.9. Both of these devices work with the same Android 11 OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't notice any differences regarding OS features. Even though Galaxy S21 and the Google Pixel 4a were released with only 5 months difference, the Galaxy S21 design is a little bit thinner but somewhat heavier.
Galaxy S21 counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Google Pixel 4a, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S21 also has a greater amount of RAM. Galaxy S21 counts with a sharper screen than Google Pixel 4a, because although it has a little bit lower quantity of pixels per inch of screen, it also counts with a bit higher 1080 x 2400 resolution and a bit larger screen.
Samsung Galaxy S21 and Google Pixel 4a have very similar storage for games and applications, both of them have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory. The Galaxy S21 features longer battery performance than Google Pixel 4a, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity against 3140mAh. Galaxy S21 has a superior camera than Google Pixel 4a, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not favorable for capturing photographs and/or video in low-light situations and a back camera with lesser megapixels resolution, it also counts with a way higher 7680x4320 video quality and a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a lot better image quality.
Although Samsung Galaxy S21 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Google Pixel 4a, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Google Pixel 4a. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy S21, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Google Pixel 4a, resigning a couple specifications.
