Samsung Galaxy S21 has an overall score of 91.8, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy A42's global score of 87. The Samsung Galaxy S21 is a lighter and a little bit thinner cellphone than the Samsung Galaxy A42, although they were released only a couple of months apart. Both of these phones come with the same Android 11 OS, so you shouldn't perceive any difference regarding operating system features.
The Galaxy S21 features a bit superior processing unit than Galaxy A42, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Galaxy S21 also has more RAM. The Galaxy S21 counts with a much sharper display than Galaxy A42, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a much greater pixel amount per inch of screen and a much better resolution of 1080 x 2400px.
Galaxy A42 has a very superior memory to store more apps and games than Galaxy S21, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Galaxy A42 also has a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 1000 GB. The Galaxy A42 counts with superior battery life than Galaxy S21, because it has a 25% bigger battery capacity.
Galaxy A42 features a little bit better camera than Galaxy S21, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution and a F1.8 aperture, the Galaxy A42 also has higher 30 frames per second video frame rates and a lot more megapixels camera in the back.
