The Galaxy S21 is a bit better than Galaxy A71, with a global score of 91.8 against 87.5. The Galaxy S21 is a newer and a little lighter device than the Galaxy A71, but it's also just a little thicker. Both of these devices include the same Android 11 OS, so you shouldn't perceive any difference in that aspect.

Samsung Galaxy S21 features just a bit better performance than Galaxy A71, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Samsung Galaxy S21 also has a greater amount of RAM. The Galaxy S21 has a brighter display than Samsung Galaxy A71, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have the same 1080 x 2400px resolution, the Galaxy S21 also counts with a just a bit better amount of pixels per inch in the display.

The Galaxy A71 features a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S21, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage, the Galaxy A71 also has a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 512 GB. Galaxy A71 features a superior camera than Galaxy S21, and although they both have a same size diafragm aperture and the same video definition, the Galaxy A71 also has a camera with way more mega pixels, a larger camera sensor which provides a better photo and video quality and better video frame rates.

Samsung Galaxy A71 counts with a little longer battery lifetime than Galaxy S21, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.

Although Galaxy S21 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy A71, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy A71. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy S21, else you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy A71, letting go some features and specs.
