Comparison review
Sony Xperia 1 III is a little bit better than Galaxy S21, getting a global score of 93.3 against 91.8. Both phones in this comparison review work with the same Android 11 OS (Operating System). Despite being the best in this comparison review, Sony Xperia 1 III is an a bit heavier and a little bit thicker phone than the Galaxy S21.
The Sony Xperia 1 III has a bit more powerful CPU than Galaxy S21, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Sony Xperia 1 III also has a greater amount of RAM memory. The Galaxy S21 and the Xperia 1 III have incredibly similar displays, although the Xperia 1 III also has a much higher number of pixels per inch in the screen, a much higher resolution of 1644 x 3840px and a quite bigger screen.
Sony Xperia 1 III features much more storage to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S21, because it has a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 1 TB and 256 GB internal storage. The Xperia 1 III has just a little bit longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy S21, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
Sony Xperia 1 III shoots a little bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy S21, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and a 12 megapixels resolution camera in the back, the Sony Xperia 1 III also has a larger camera aperture to capture better low light captures, higher 120 fps video frame rates and a larger camera sensor capturing higher quality photos and videos.
Although Xperia 1 III is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy S21, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy S21. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Xperia 1 III, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy S21, letting go some features and specs.
